Leash-training experiment over :-(
Well, the cheap harness/leash contraption ended up breaking, so I guess the training experiment is over. There are more expensive devices out there, but I don't know if it's worth it. My kitty doesn't seem to be missing out on anything by staying in the house. And I don't have much money to spare.
I'll try taking the cheap one back to the pet store, though my cat has snagged it in some places with his claws, so they might not take it back. But it's worth a shot.

I tried the leash experiment also. While we didn't have any equipment failures, it was still a disaster. Kitty seems perfectly content to watch the world from her window without participating in the great outdoors. I guess some of them are just that way :)
